The Australian Baking Industry National Scholarship Awards presentation will take place at a gala dinner in Brisbane. The awards consist of, ‘The Arthur E Denison Trophy’ and ‘The Sydney J Packham (OAM) Baking Industry Medal.
The only event of its kind, held every two years, the Pastry Queen competition is intended specifically for women pastry-chefs from around the world, to give them a unique opportunity to put their skills to the test and find new inspiration for a successful and stimulating career.
In 2021, the 5th Junior World Pastry Championships will be held at SIGEP- Until then, young pastry chefs from all over the world will be competing in their own countries in an attempt to be selected to go to the World competition at SIGEP.
The “grande finale” of the Coupe du Monde de la Pâtisserie (World Pastry Cup) is held every two years in Lyon (France), and runs parallel to Sirha Lyon at Eurexpo. This prestigious contest has become the main pastry event worldwide.
